DEBATE
The debating club is headed up by our young student Ethan Jonck and is a popular platform for students to learn and refine their public speaking skills and provides the students with the ability for a critical discussion on both a competitive and informal level. This society is held once a week and well attended.
ENTREPRENEURS DAY
A fun day held during school hours where the Keystage 2 students put on an impressive show of their entrepreneur skills. Great stalls, amazing products and an opportunity for the younger learners to enjoy the experience of a fantastic market day.

KARATE and SELF DEFENCE
The art of self defence is becoming more and more popular and a necessity with the young people of this country. Although martial art techniques are centuries old and very effective, the planned modern day programs being offered are always evolving to keep pace with the rapidly changing world. This training will help the student with
* focus and balance
* fitness and breathing
* bullying and self defence
* relaxation and Goal setting
HORSERIDING
On a Wednesday afternoon a group of students pack a picnic lunch and head out to the farm where they spend good quality time with one another and the horses. They muck out stables, groom the horses, often needing to dip them and then of course they also get to ride the horses on the farm. Playing music and learning formations with both horse and rider is an integral part of the holistic education offered at Study House. The students are taught the basic anatomical names of the parts of the horse as well as the tack used to ride.
ENVIRONMENTAL
MANAGEMENT
As we are situated in the heart of the botanical gardens we have made it compulsory for all students to take Environmental Management as a subject from as early as Keystage 2.
The syllabus is designed to teach learners about sustainable development in a world where the security of resources and life sustaining systems is endangered by human impact. It draws upon disciplines such as Biology, Earth Science, Geography and Economics. Students learn how the environment can be managed sustainably in the future from a local as well as a global perspective
